Justin Timberlake APOLOGIZES for his bad dancing… after failing at DC’s Beat Ya Feet dance

He was mercilessly mocked on social media for his clumsy attempt at Washington, DC’s Beat Ya Feet dance at a concert in the nation’s capital on Saturday.

And Justin Timberlake took to Instagram on Wednesday to clear the air and apologize for his half-heart steps in a humorous new video.

The 41-year-old singer and actor told his 65.2 million followers that he wanted to apologize for two reasons — ‘Here, and here! — as he pointed down at his feet.

Making amends: Justin Timberlake, 41, apologized on Wednesday in an Insta Stories video for his subpar version of DC’s Beat Ya Feet dance during a performance in the capital on Saturday

The pop star was casually dressed in the clip with a plain white T-shirt, navy sweatpants and a silver luxury wristwatch, along with silver and diamond-studded chains dangling from his neck.

‘I had a long talk with both of them, individually,’ he said of his underperforming feet as he warned them, ‘”Don’t you ever do that to me again.”‘

Timberlake jokingly added, ‘Maybe it was the khakis. It was a real khaki vibe.’

He concluded with a promise to ‘make this up’ to his fans. ‘I’m gonna focus on these two guys right here and get them right. Love you all.’

The Social Network actor also reposted a few fans videos of people attempting to replicate or even improve on his terrible moves.

Justin appeared to have filmed his funny apology video in Paris, France, where he was spotted spending some time with his wife Jessica Biel, 40, earlier on Wednesday.

The Rock Your Body singer covered up his T-shirt with a navy blazer with short labels, and he added sunglasses, but otherwise stuck to the same outfit.

Jessica highlighted her fit figure with a tight cream-colored long-sleeve crop top that bared a bit of her washboard abs.

She also had on a cool set of high-waisted beige slacks with an odd detached strap above her waist and baggy cuffed legs.

She complemented the look with white platform sneakers and wore a small crimson handbag crossbody-style.

Her long brunette locks with parted down the middle and rested delicately over her chest, framing her stylish round-frame sunglasses.

Justin got himself into trouble with dance connoisseurs after his performance at DC’s Something in the Water Festival on Saturday night.

He tried to replicate the city’s popular Beat Ya Feet dance, which has been a common step in the capital for more than two decades.

But after video of the dance break made its way to social media, Timberlake was lambasted by users for his poor performance, with one person joking that his dance was closer to the ‘hokey pokey’ than Beat Ya Feet.

One fan who had a prime spot at the DC festival shared a video of Justin’s dancing to TikTok on Sunday, captioning it, ‘CANT BELIEVE I SAW JT,’ with a crying emoji.

‘DC, get yo’ beat!’ Timberlake appears to shout in the clip as he proceeds to show off his footwork while his face looks far from relaxed.

The dance is fairly brief and doesn’t have the more extended movies that many Beat Ya Feet dancers display.

One person who caught the clip of Justin dancing thought it had a strong resemblance to a classic childhood dance.

‘Justin Timberlake said “DC beat your feet” and proceeded to do the hokey pokey, ‘they joked.

Other mocking tweets brought up his relationship with Britney Spears and his infamous Super Bowl halftime performance with Janet Jackson, both of which have made him a renewed subject of ridicule in recent years.

‘I wonder if Janet and Britney ever text each other,’ mused Saeed Jones in a quote tweet.

Kayleigh Donaldson joked that the subpar moves could have belonged in a half-hearted Glee rendition.

‘Justin Timberlake completing his evolution into Mr. Schuster [sic] from Glee,’ she wrote.

Embarrassing: But many fans weren't moved by the performance, and one viewer joked that his leggy moves looked more like the 'hokey pokey' than Beat Ya Feet

The former NSYNC member also got compared to other maligned men, including Chet Hanks.

‘Justin Timberlake was just at Something In The Water dancing like Chet Hanks,’ one user tweeted.

Another hilarious tweet compared him to an awkward ‘vice principal.’

‘Justin Timberlake looks like a Vice Principle trying to have a dance off in the hallway with his students talm’bout “what you know about this” #sitw [sic],’ they wrote.

One person who watched the clip said that the Cry Me A River singer’s dancing was ‘a cross between a black uncle at a cookout and Irish river dancing,’ adding, ‘and no I won’t be explaining this any further.’

Even the pop star’s outfit got a drubbing, with a tweet reading, ‘Did Justin Timberlake just get off work?? Cause the outfit is very much IT specialist.’

Not fans: Some fans compared him to maligned figures like Chet Hanks or a nerdy vice principal, while some even poked fun at his casual attire, saying he looked like an 'IT specialist'

He took the dance break during what appeared to be an interlude in a performance of his 2006 single SexyBack.

According to KQED, the Beat Ya Feet Dance originated with Marvin ‘Slush’ Taylor in DC around the late 1990s.

The dance reportedly evolved out of the city’s go-go music, described as a ‘mixture of relaxed funk, gospel, jazz, call and response, and Afro-Caribbean beats.’
